This was the best.  Getting full recipe submissions from some super awesome and super creative people.  This one was a bitch to judge.  The ZOMGesus and The ZOMGenius did not see eye to eye on this one.  A third, nonpartisan judge had to be brought in to settle it.  The nominees are:<br />

1 egg white<br />
1tbsp water<br />
1 lb. nuts<br />
1 cup white sugar<br />
3/4 tsp salt<br />
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice<br />
1/4 to 1/2 tsp cayenne (optional)<br />
substitute ZOMG SAUCE!!!<br />
<br />
*<br />
preheat oven to 250F. Use Pam or parchment on a baking sheet<br />
*<br />
in a mixing bowl whip together egg white and water till frothy<br />
*<br />
in separate bowl mix together sugar, salt and cinammon<br />
*<br />
add nuts to egg white, stir to coat the nuts evenly. Remove from egg bowl and toss with spice & sugar mixture until coated. Spread on prepped baking sheet<br />
*<br />
bake at 250 for an hour stirring every 15 minutes<br />

after an hour remove from heat and cool, then PIG OUT!! <br />

Hey ZOMGuys,<br />
<br />
This holiday Lauren and I did mussels for our Christmas dinner, but instead of normal mussels, we did ZOMGussels! Here's a recipe for those of us out there that love ZOMG and love seafood:<br />
<br />
Ingredients:<br />
<br />
2lbs fresh mussels, cleaned and de-bearded<br />
1/4 cup butter<br />
1 white onion, diced<br />
1 large tomato, diced<br />
2 cloves garlic, diced<br />
1/2 cup cava (we used Segura Viudas)<br />
2-3tbsp Batch 101<br />
<br />
Directions:<br />
<br />
1. Get a large saucepan with a lid that fits tightly. Inside, melt the butter, and sautee the tomato, onion and garlic together until they're softened on medium-high.<br />
<br />
2. Pour in the mussels, QUICKLY add the wine and ZOMG, and get the lid on. Reduce the heat to medium.<br />
<br />
3. Simmer the mussels in the saucepan for 5 minutes or until they're all (or nearly all) opened, shaking it to get the ones near the top down where the heat is.<br />
<br />
4. Take saucepan off the heat, and carefully drain through a strainer into a bowl. KEEP THE ZOMGusselJuice(c)!<br />
<br />
5. Transfer (dump) mussels into your serving dish, we used a large salad bowl.<br />
<br />
6. Your hands are probably already tired from cleaning and de-bearding all those mussels, but if you have the energy, eat one out the shell (for QC if nothing else), and use half of that shell to scrape out 10 or so of its friends so there's a high ratio of delicious to shell, especially at the bottom. Shake the serving dish around to distribute them.<br />
<br />
7. If you're feeling creative, you can put the ZOMGusselJuice back on the stove quickly at this point and thicken it, or add some new flavours. We added more 101 and let it boil for a minute or two.<br />
<br />
8. Pour ZOMGusselJuice evenly over the mussels in the serving dish.<br />
<br />
9. Serve and enjoy! We had ours with caesar salad and a sliced baguette. Serves 2 hungry people.<br />
<br />
IMPORTANT NOTE: When you're cleaning mussels, give each one a couple taps on the shell and within a couple seconds it should close up tightly. if it doesn't, throw it away. Same with cracked or damaged ones. When you're eating them, if any aren't open enough you can fit a finger easily between the sides of the shell, same deal, it was dead when it went in the pot.<br />

 <title>Uh oh... Risotto Balls.</title>

<description><![CDATA[<div style="text-align: center"><b>Brace yourself.  We actually did this.</b></div><br />

So Krazy Kat Lady Kat made some amazing green pea and lemon risotto last night and decided this afternoon that the world wasn't fit to live in if you couldn't take the left overs, roll them into balls, stuff them with mozzarella and fry them.  She's the ZOMGenius for a reason.  Pardon any typos, I think I'm in a risotto ball coma.<br />

<b>Ingredients</b><br />
<br />
Vegetable oil, for deep-frying<br />
2 large eggs, beaten to blend<br />
2 cups Risotto with Peas, cooled<br />
1/2 cup grated Parmesan<br />
1 1/2 cups dried Italian-style bread crumbs<br />
<b>ZOMG added with reckless abandon</b><br />
2 ounces mozzarella, cut into 1/2-inch cubes<br />
Your favourite tomato sauce beefed up with <b>ZOMG</b> to taste<br />
<br />
<b>Directions</b><br />
<br />
Pour enough oil in a heavy large saucepan to reach the depth of 3 inches. Heat the oil over medium heat to 350 degrees F.<br />
Stir the eggs, risotto, Parmesan, <b>loads of your favourite batch of ZOMG</b> and 1/2 cup of the bread crumbs in a large bowl to combine. Place the remaining breadcrumbs in a medium bowl. Using about 2 tablespoons of the risotto mixture for each, form the risotto mixture into 1 3/4-inch-diameter balls. Insert 1 cube of mozzarella into the center of each ball. Roll the balls in the bread crumbs to coat.<br />
Working in batches, add the rice balls to the hot ail and cook until brown and heated through, turning them as necessary, about 4 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the rice balls to paper towels to drain.  Let rest 2 minutes. Serve hot with warmed ZOMGezzy tomato sauce over top. <br />

Try this toasted pumpkin seeds with ZOMG recipe. <br />

<b>Ingredients</b><br />
<br />
1 1/2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds<br />
2 teaspoons butter, melted<br />
<b>2 teaspoon ZOMGSAUCE Batch #101</b><br />
1 pinch salt<br />
<br />
<b>Directions</b><br />
<br />
1.Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). <br />
2.Toss seeds in a bowl with the melted butter, ZOMG and salt. Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown; stir occasionally.<br />
